Sir Peter Hall
During the 1960s British stage director and theater manager Sir Peter Hall helped create a new national theater in the United Kingdom—the Royal Shakespeare Company. Hall also served as director of the National Theatre Company, and in 1988 he created the Peter Hall Company, where he directed theater and opera productions.
