Santiago de Compostela
Believed to be the burial site of the apostle Saint James, the cathedral at Santiago de Compostela has been a Catholic holy site since the 9th century. The original Romanesque style has been updated and embellished throughout its history. The towers were built in the 12th century and the west face was built between 1738 and 1750.
