At the Seaside
Painter and writer Wyndham Lewis was the chief figure in the British art movement known as vorticism. The angular, machinelike forms of Lewis’s work show the influence of both cubism and futurism. At the Seaside, painted in 1913, is in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, England.
