Rat Teeth

Rat Teeth
Well-developed incisors dominate the front of the skull of the rat. These sharp teeth grow throughout the life of the animal and must constantly be worn down through chewing. Present in all species of rodents, the incisors can chew through wood or lead pipes and tunnel through soil. They also serve as combs for grooming. Despite myth, rats make clean, friendly pets.
