Japanese Persimmon

Japanese Persimmon
The Japanese persimmon tree, cultivated for its foliage and edible fruit, requires fertile, well-drained soil. This deciduous tree, reaching a height of 10 m (30 ft) and a spread of nearly 7 m (22 ft), produces large, round, edible, orange fruit. Its fall foliage is especially colorful with reds, purples, and oranges.
