John Quincy Adams
John Quincy Adams was the sixth president of the United States and the son of the president John Adams and Abigail Smith Adams. Adams was considered brilliant but aloof, and the latter trait proved crippling to his presidency when he refused to take part in political deal-making. He served only one term.
