Indian Necklaces

Indian Necklaces
These three necklaces from India are examples of fine workmanship. The necklace with the seven separate pieces is known as a satratana; each of its jewels represents a planet within the Indian astrological system. The enameled cloisonné gold sections are strung together with emerald beads.
