Apes

Chimpanzees, orangutans, and gorillas, known collectively as great apes, and gibbons and siamangs, or lesser apes, share a number of characteristics. These primates lack tails, use all of their limbs in locomotion, and maintain a primarily vegetarian diet. Ape faces have a flattened appearance with prominent jaws and most species have a well-developed social structure.
