Bern Cathedral, Switzerland
The city of Bern is the capital of Switzerland. It is known for its well-preserved 14th- to 16th-century architecture. The Gothic cathedral, seen here, was begun in 1421. It was designed by Matthäus Ensinger from Ulm, and its tower was added in 1893.
