| Dutch artist Vincent van Gogh spent the last months of his life in Auvers-sur-Oise, near Paris, under the care of Dr. Paul Gachet. As always, he painted the buildings and landscapes around him, including the Romanesque church in Auvers, shown here. The painting is now in the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. | ||||||
