| The Trossachs is an area of wooded upland between Loch Katrine and Loch Achray in central Scotland. In July 2002 the Trossachs, together with the Loch Lomond area, was designated Scotland’s first national park—Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. The park covers an area of about 1,865 sq km (720 sq mi). |
