Hudson’s Last Voyage

Hudson’s Last Voyage
Henry Hudson made four voyages in search of a northwest passage to Asia. In 1611, after a freezing voyage, Hudson and several others were set adrift by his mutinous crew in the great bay named after him in northern Canada. They were never seen again. This engraving is based on a 19th-century painting by British artist John Collier.
