Cloudberry, plant belonging to the rose family. The cloudberry is a dwarf species of raspberry. It is native to arctic and subarctic regions but is found as far south as Maine in North America. The cloudberry is sometimes planted in rock gardens. It has a creeping rootstock, and it reaches a height of 8 to 25 cm (3 to 10 in). The cloudberry plant has rounded, lobed leaves and large, white flowers. Its orange-yellow berries are edible.

Scientific classification: The cloudberry is a member of the family Rosaceae and is classified as Rubus chamaemorus.
