Teddy Wilson

Teddy Wilson (1912–1986), American bandleader and jazz pianist. His full name was Theodore Shaw Wilson. He toured with orchestra leader Benny Goodman from 1935 to 1939 and recorded in small groups with many of the best musicians of the time. Some of his 1930s recordings feature jazz singer Billie Holiday. Wilson led a big band from 1939 to 1940 and a sextet from 1940 to 1946.
