Susie Cooper (1902–1995), English pottery designer, born Susan Vera Barker. Cooper’s style varied from colorful art deco to softer, pastel decoration on more classical shapes. She started her own company in 1929, which later was part of the Wedgwood factory, where she became senior designer.
