Notorious

Notorious, motion picture about a woman who becomes a spy for the United States government. Released in 1946, the film was directed by Alfred Hitchcock and stars Ingrid Bergman as Alicia Huberman, who has chosen to spy for the United States in spite of her father’s Nazism. Huberman becomes romantically involved with Devlin (played by Cary Grant), another American agent. Huberman spies on her father’s Nazi comrades in Argentina, and ends up marrying one of them. Her new husband (Claude Rains) soon begins to suspect that she is a spy.
