Natural Born Killers, motion picture about a couple going on a violent crime spree, directed by Oliver Stone. Released in 1994, the film criticizes the way the media covers violent crimes. Mickey Knox meets his soulmate Mallory while he’s murdering her parents. They get married and embark on an extremely violent crime spree. The Knoxes kill several dozen people and become media celebrities before going to jail for their crimes. Mickey incites a prison riot and shares his thoughts with the nation on live television with the help of tabloid television reporter Wayne Gale (played by Robert Downey, Jr.).
