Saint Vincent College

Saint Vincent College, private, coeducational institution in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, about 55 km (about 35 mi) southeast of Pittsburgh. Founded in 1846, the school is affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church. The college confers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in a wide range of fields. It offers courses of study in the liberal arts, the arts and sciences, the fine arts, business administration and management, computer science, education, law, and theological studies. Research facilities at the college include the Life Research Laboratory. Joint programs in engineering are offered in cooperation with Pennsylvania State University, Boston University, and the University of Pittsburgh.
