St. Mary’s College of Maryland

St. Mary’s College of Maryland, public, coeducational institution in Saint Mary’s City, Maryland, about 100 km (about 60 mi) southeast of Washington, D.C. The school was founded in 1840. The college confers bachelor’s degrees. It offers courses of study in the arts and sciences, the fine arts, performing arts, and public affairs.
