Lakehead University, public, coeducational institution in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. The school was founded in 1965. The college confers bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in a wide range of fields. It offers courses of study in the liberal arts, the arts and sciences, the fine arts, business administration and management, computer science, library science, engineering, industrial administration, labor and industrial relations, human resources, theological studies, education, physical education, nursing, medical technology, forestry, and recreation and leisure services.
