Aquarius (astronomy) (Latin for “the water bearer”), a zodiacal constellation—that is, one located along the ecliptic, the apparent annual path of the sun across the sky (see Zodiac). Aquarius is located between Capricornus and Pisces. The constellation contains no stars brighter than the third magnitude.
