Flint (river, Georgia), river, western Georgia, rising near Atlanta in the Piedmont Plateau. It flows south and then southwest for 530 km (330 mi) and joins the Chattahoochee River in the southwestern corner of the state on the border with Florida to form the Apalachicola River. The Flint is navigable for small boats south from Albany.
