Windows Live® Search Results Trinity (river, Texas), river, eastern Texas. Rising in northeastern Texas, it is formed, near Dallas, by the confluence of the East Fork and the West Fork. It then flows southeast through a fertile and well-timbered region and empties into Trinity Bay, an arm of Galveston Bay. It is 580 km (360 mi) long and drains an area of about 46,620 sq km (about 18,000 sq mi).
