Lamb’s-Quarters, common name for an annual herb, a member of the goosefoot family. Lamb's-quarters grows up to 3 m (up to 10 ft) tall; the leaves, which are about 10 cm (about 4 in) long, are mealy white on the undersides. The small flowers grow on long panicles. Native to Eurasia, lamb's-quarters is now widespread in North America, where it occurs as a weed in waste places, fields, and gardens. The seeds have been used to make bread, and the young leaves may be used in salads or cooked like spinach.

Scientific classification: Lamb's-quarters belongs to the family Chenopodiaceae. It is classified as Chenopodium album.
