Swine

Swine, common name applied to a group of four-legged mammals, especially domestic hogs, that have stout bodies, short legs, thick and usually bristled skins, long snouts, and short tails. Swine are artiodactyl ungulates (hoofed, with even-numbered toes). See Boar; Peccary.
Scientific classification: Swine belong to the families Suidae and Tayassuidae, in the order Artiodactyla.
