Very High Frequency, usually abbreviated VHF, band of radio-signal frequencies, ranging from about 30 megahertz (MHz) to 300 Mhz, with corresponding wavelengths ranging from about 10 to 1 m (33 to 3 ft) (see Frequency; Radio; Wave Motion).
