Windows Live® Search Results Lehman Caves, eastern Nevada, established as a national monument in 1922 and incorporated into Great Basin National Park in 1986. Located in the Snake Range at the foot of Wheeler Peak, this site contains a series of underground limestone caverns. The caves, 60 m (200 ft) below the surface, include unusual multicolored rock formations. Reviewed by: National Park Service
