Coromandel Peninsula
Cor·o·man·del Pen·in·su·la [ kàwrə mánd'l pə nìnsyələ ] peninsula on the northeastern coast of the North Island, New Zealand. Rugged and heavily forested, it is 112 km (70 mi) long and, on average, 32 km (20 mi) wide.
