| Broads [ brawdz ] area of over 30 shallow freshwater lakes and lagoons in Norfolk and Suffolk, eastern England. A popular tourist destination, it is managed by the Broads Authority and was made a Special Statutory Authority, with similar status to that of a national park, in 1988. |
