1. hog meat: the flesh of a hog eaten as food, usually cooked fresh. Cured hog flesh is usually referred to as bacon or ham. ( often used before a noun )

2. U.S. political handouts: government money and jobs awarded by politicians to their supporters or constituents to win their favor, especially when awarded wastefully ( informal )
