Definition:
 
1. container for cooking: a container made of metal, pottery, or glass that is usually cylindrical and watertight with an open top and sometimes a lid, used especially for cooking or storage

2. something resembling pot: something similar to a pot in shape or function, e.g. a flowerpot or teapot

3. contents of pot: the contents of a pot, or the amount that it will hold
