noun  (plural prints)
Definition:
 
1. pressed mark: a mark made by pressing something onto a surface
left dirty paw prints on the carpet

2. writing on surface: words, figures, or symbols on a surface, especially when produced by a machine
books available in large print

3. published status: the state of being in a printed form or being published
We don't want these typographical errors to make it into print.

4. artwork: a work of art made by inking a surface with a raised design and pressing it onto paper or another surface
