Definition:
 
1. small ocean crustacean: a small, mainly ocean-dwelling crustacean with ten legs, belonging to a suborder that includes several edible species. A shrimp has a long thin semitransparent body, five pairs of jointed legs, a tail resembling a fan, and a pair of pincers. Suborder Natantia.
