Visigoth

Vis·i·goth [ vízzi gòth ] (plural Vis·i·goths)

Definition:
 
member of 5C Gothic people: a member of an ancient Germanic people who conquered parts of the Roman Empire during the 5th century. They destroyed Rome in 410 and took over parts of Spain and southern France, where they established a powerful kingdom that lasted until the beginning of the 8th century.
