1. range of vision: the range or extent of somebody's ability to see something
As we rounded the bend the mountains came into view.

2. scene: a scene or an area that can be seen, especially one that is pleasing or impressive
We have a wonderful view of the ocean from our porch.

3. opinion: somebody's opinion or judgment on something or particular way of interpreting or thinking about something ( often used in the plural )

Cultural Note

A Room with a View, a novel (1908) by British writer E. M. Forster. It describes how a young Englishwoman's visit to Italy and her encounter there with a young unconventional expatriate encourage her to rebel against the emotionally stifling conventions of her upper-class background. It was made into a movie by Ismail Merchant and James Ivory in 1985.
