Definition:
 
1. signal to speak or act: something said or done that provides the signal for somebody, especially an actor or performer, to say or do something

2. prompt or reminder: something that prompts or reminds somebody to do something

3. psychology response-producing stimulus: a stimulus or pattern of stimuli, often not consciously perceived, that results in a specific learned behavioral response
