Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb cooking cook just below boil: to cook something gently just below boiling point, usually with the occasional bubble breaking on the surface, or be cooked in this way

2. transitive and intransitive verb cooking stay or keep something below boil: to keep a liquid just below boiling point, or be kept at this point

3. intransitive verb grow angry: to have anger or another strong emotion building up inside
simmering with rage

4. intransitive verb build up: to build up inside somebody, often without being expressed ( refers to strong emotions )
