Provincetown
Prov·ince·town [ próvvinss tòwn ] town in southeastern Massachusetts, at the tip of Cape Cod, north of Dennis. It is an artists' colony, and the site of the Pilgrims' first landing in 1620.
Population: 3,426 (2005 estimate).
