Definition:
 
1. boy attendant: a youth acting as an attendant to somebody on a ceremonial occasion, e.g. to a bride at her wedding

2. boy who runs errands: a youth employed to run errands or carry messages for guests in a hotel or club

3. errand runner in U.S. Congress: somebody employed as a messenger, guide, and assistant in the U.S. Congress

4. boy servant in medieval times: a youth who acted as a personal or household servant to somebody, especially a royal or noble person, in medieval times

5. boy apprenticed to knight: a youth who acted as the personal servant to a knight in medieval times as the first stage of his training to become a knight
