Definition:
 
1. teacher: a teacher who instructs an individual student or a small group of students, especially one teaching students in need of remedial work

2. U.S. low-ranking U.S. university teacher: in some U.S. universities, a teacher of a rank below instructor

3. British university teacher: in British universities, an academic who is responsible for teaching and advising an allocated group of students
