Definition:
 
1. food filled pastry: a filled pastry made by folding a square or circle of pastry in half over a filling to form a semicircle or triangle

2. human resources change in employees: the number of employees in an organization who leave and are replaced over a given period
job dissatisfaction that results in high turnover

3. accounting amount of business: the amount of business transacted over a given period of time, especially when expressed as gross revenue

4. commerce throughput of inventory: the rate at which business inventory is sold and replaced

5. finance number of shares sold: the number of shares sold on a stock exchange within a particular period of time

6. sports loss of possession: in basketball and football, a loss of possession of the ball resulting from error or violation of rules

7. act of turning over: an act or process of turning something over
