Definition:
 
1. transitive verb regard somebody in particular way: to behave toward or think of somebody or something in a particular way
They treated us like family.

2. transitive verb give medical aid to somebody: to give medical aid to somebody, or apply medical techniques to a disease or symptom in order to provide a cure

3. transitive verb subject something to process or agent: to subject something to a physical, chemical, or biological process or agent such as a chemical reaction or the application of a coating
