Definition:
 
1. movement from one place to another: movement, or the act of moving something or somebody, from one place or position to another

2. botany movement of food in plants: the movement of soluble materials within a plant. Common examples are the movement of food materials from the leaves to storage organs, and the movement of dissolved minerals upward from the roots.

3. genetics transfer of part of chromosome: the transfer of part of a chromosome to a new position on the same or on a different chromosome with resultant rearrangement of the genes
