transitive verb 
Definition:
 
1. make somebody immobile with shock: to shock or terrify somebody so much as to induce a momentary inability to move

2. pierce through somebody: to pierce somebody or something through with a weapon or other sharp object

3. medicine cut completely through limb: to cut through a part of the body completely, e.g. when amputating a limb
