1. transitive and intransitive verb excite somebody: to excite or stimulate somebody pleasurably, usually in a mildly sexual way

2. transitive verb cause somebody to tingle: to cause a tingling sensation in somebody by touching him or her lightly

Word Usage
titillate or titivate?

These two unrelated verbs look and sound similar and are sometimes confused. To titillate is to excite or stimulate somebody, usually in a mildly sexual way, whereas to titivate is to improve the appearance: She was accused of titillating her readers with details of the actor's private life.He was titivating himself in front of the mirror.
