| Tien Shan [ tyèn shn ] or Tian Shan [ tyàn shn ] mountain range in Central Asia, stretching about 2,400 km (1,500 mi) from Kyrgyzstan in the west through northwestern China to Mongolia in the east. The highest point is Victory Peak, 7,439 m (24,406 ft). |
