Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb melt: to melt, or make something melt

2. transitive and intransitive verb defrost: to defrost frozen food, or become defrosted
Leave the cake out to thaw.

3. intransitive verb become less cold: to become less cold or numb through exposure to heat
Come thaw out by the fire.
