1. with reasonable supporting arguments: justified in a fair or rational way and able to be defended because there is sufficient evidence or reason

2. able to be occupied: capable of being occupied or held, usually by a particular person or for a particular period of time ( formal )

3. military capable of being defended in battle: able to be held successfully against an enemy attack
