Definition:
 
1. emotionally responsive to surroundings: describes somebody who is emotionally attuned to his or her environment

2. according with beliefs: in ego psychology, used to describe behavior that does not conflict with somebody's basic attitudes and beliefs and, therefore, is not anxiety-provoking ( used in combination )
