verb  (past and past participle sucked, present participle suck·ing, 3rd person present singular sucks)
Definition:
 
1. transitive and intransitive verb draw liquid out with mouth: to draw the liquid out of something with the mouth
The baby sucked on her bottle.

2. transitive and intransitive verb make pulling mouth movements on something: to hold something in the mouth and make movements with the tongue and lips as if drawing liquid out of it
sucked his thumb

3. transitive and intransitive verb make something dissolve in mouth: to consume something by making it slowly dissolve in the mouth, rolling the tongue around it
